During my time at smartData Enterprises Inc. , I had the privilege to work on the OCR engine platform. This project aims to develop a pharmacist platform enabling the upload or capture of prescription images via mobile cameras. Utilizing an OCR engine, handwritten text will be extracted and medications comprehended, allowing comparison with a database. Upon identifying a match, relevant medication details like names, type, dosage, etc., will be displayed. The app enhances pharmacist understanding of intricate prescriptions, mitigating errors and ensuring accurate medication dispensation. Furthermore, it provides a resourceful section allowing pharmacists to access manufacturer contacts and establish offline connections.
